Here's a little diversionary project...this baby just screams Fall, doesn't it?
last Friday night I remembered two balls of Kauni wool yarn I had purchsed last year and never knew what to make with it...so around 10pm I start doing research on Ravelry. (boy, there's a way to kill a few hours....) I found this amazingly easy pattern here and my fingers started a-flying. I love working on a project that doesn't require too much thinking and whips up fast. I'm about a quarter of the way done and I'm loving how light and airy this shawl is.

Crochet? It's beautiful! I don't crochet...yet. I might have to learn because I'd seriously like this shawl for myself.
It does scream fall, although, very harmoniously, more like a really good song! Beautiful :)
p.s. thank you for clearing up the yellow ball mystery - feel so much better now I know what they are.
