ugh...

it was a rough weekend folks, I wish I had some lovely stories and pix for you of holiday feasts and adventures. Really, I do. But the fact is, I worked a lot,

(and had some firing disasters--see the streaky glazed vase below, grrrr)

had a tiny bit of fun with my boy, watched some sports (go Hawks!!!) and the rest is going to be forgotten asap.

I took the camera out for a bit--my red onions from last year are blooming and looking (and smelling!) a bit surreal.

110???? no WAY!

omg. I can't even think about that....

misfirings....grrr. well, I plan on having a blowout seconds sale with all the problem stuff that's accumulated over the past few years. Gimme a shout if you're coming up the hill!

Everyone I've been looking at on line seems to be so busy at the moment. Your pots are looking great. I sometimes have a small seconds box outside my workshop, not seconds in the true sense of the word, just pots i'm not that keen on for all kinds of reasons. any way when ever I put the box out they sell like hot cakes and I use the money to buy myself a treat.

Paul, that is such a good idea. When I had my studio/shop I would occasionally put out the seconds and folks would grab them up. Now I haven't had a studio sale since 2007 (OMG!) so I have stuff piling up all over the place, but I dread organizing it all...
