today is World Nutella Day!
One of my most fav foods has it's own holiday! woohoo!
I discovered this today over on the Italian Dish where there is the most amazing recipe for Nutella Bread.
Doesn't that pic just make you swoon!! If it wasn't glazing day today, I'd be baking. Maybe tonight....
I know I'm not the only one who eats it right out of the jar....but my other favorite way is rolled up in a flour tortilla with cherry preserves.

I think my favorite way is to eat it right out of the jar by dipping pretzels into it. MMmmmm I may have to have that for my afternoon snack!

I have been known to put it on buttered toast with jam...back when I had a metabolism....
Being German I grew up with Nutella, although my mother only allowed us the occasional treat of it. My favorite way to eat it is on a fresh German morning roll (Broetchen), they are crispy on the outside and soft within. You cut them in half and spread (lots of) Nutella over each half and then take a hearty bite. Mmmm ...
OOoooooh... I love to mix Nutella and Marshmellow Cream. I eat it by the spoonful so no other flavor will interfere with the creamy delight of my 2 favorite delicacies in perfect harmony with each other.
In other words... I REALLY like it!
Whaaaat? Nutella has its own day?!! And I missed it? I have to admit that my favourite way to eat it is from a spoon... a bit uncouth but very yummy :)
nutella is so yummy. definitely a nice spread for my daughter to enjoy.

what IS the amnesty period on celebrating Nutella Day? I've enjoyed it on cinammon bread, but that pretzel idea has the wheels turning...

This is so weird! Gave my 5 year old & friend nutella on hot wholegrain toast with fresh farm butter & was wondering where else & who else in the world loves nutella, sit down in front of computer with my own slice in hand, catching up on google reader & you have a post with a world nutella day!!! Unbelievable.

I never knew Nutella had it's own day! Good to know. My fav. way to eat it is on my kids "Bunny Grahams"...dip them into the jar. OR on crepes.
