I took these the other day, and just haven't posted them. I did try to finish up the beds along the garden wall last week, so I can take a bit of a break from wielding the pickaxe for a while--yay! Work has been more than busy. I got some new stoneware clay, so I've been playing around with that, trying to see what glazes it likes. (so far none of the glazes I use, which sucks).
I actually made some little flower earrings for my local stores, both shop owners told me to bring in 10-12 pairs to try out. I LOVE making jewelry! I could do that all day long, that's for sure. So I'm playing with these little toys I got at the conference making little cherry blossoms...I feel a little scattered again--I guess that's when I blog. What's up with that?

Your garden is looking great, and I LOVE the earrings. They are so petite and feminine, I'm pretty sure almost anyone could work them into their style. Jewelry making IS fun, isn't it?
Look how green your garden has gotten!! It's lovely and happy. I agree with you, making jewelry is so fun! Your earrings are wonderful. I love making anything small and detailed it's just hard to pay the bills with my little soap dishes and tree ornaments :o) Have you tried using PMC silver clay? Oh my gosh, I had to quit buying it because that's a lot of fun too.
The yard is a serious distraction--just cuz it needs soooo much work!
And the earrings are something I plan to keep expanding on--my idea is to have a bunch of accounts buying them and have a helper work with making them....we'll see how that goes--part of my new business growth plan. Both local shops are DYING to have more stuff to sell that was made here in Sedona, so I'm trying to get a product together for them. I'll be putting out a few designs to test in the next few months and lining up a couple of young women who can do the assembly. We'll see where it goes.
these are fantastic...just lovely! i know a shop or two here in brooklyn that might like to take your work if they don't already! write to me!
and your circular garden is fantastic...
