Another phase of my job....

So this is what happens next....after spending the day glazing and firing, the kiln cools for 24 hours, and I get to see how it all turned out. This is one kiln load of work, most of it is going out this week to my wholesale accounts here in Sedona, some will get posted on Etsy.

been workin late....

I got a call from one of my wholesale accounts--they need more pots! So yesterday I worked hard, throwing, trimming, speed-drying (only another potter would understand) breaking the rules, sticking to my diet (I lost 5 pounds in '08!!!), went for a walk, shipped some things that sold on Etsy, and then went back to work until about 10:30 last nite.
It's very cold here in Sedona, hmmm what's up with that?

This suits my mood at the moment

Everyone has the obligation to ponder well his own specific traits of character. He must also regulate them adequately and not wonder whether someone else's traits might suit him better. The more definitely his own a man's character is, the better it fits him.
